Academics Overview
As a Dominican parish school, St. Pius V upholds truth as the guiding principle of its academic program. Truth is founded on the person and teachings of Jesus Christ. School emphasizes the need to strive for excellence in all academics in order that students may further the Gospel message in all areas of life. We believe that God manifests Himself through creation and Divine Revelation and that grace builds on nature. We therefore foster the development of knowledge and talents of our students.
It is our belief that each child is a unique gift from God with the ability to know and learn the truth. The unique character of the person guides the development of our academic programs to incorporate diversity in our methods and strategies.
As a Catholic school, we recognize parents as the primary educators of their children. We strive to assist and encourage them in this tremendous God-given vocation. As partners in this challenge of educating the whole child, we work together to nurture and develop each child to his or her fullest potential.
